PostSubject: Oklahoma D-Day A Bridge Too Far   Sat Jun 19, 2010 10:16 am

The D-Day Adventure Park Staff have announced the date of the return of a 2nd WWII Scenario Paintball Event called A Bridge Too Far to be held on August 6th! This Scenario Paintball Event is designed to recreate Operation Market Garden in WWII

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operation_Market_Garden

This was my first Scenario Game from all the way back in 2002 that got me into all of this Scenario Paintball stuff! I am going to do everything I can to make it to support this event since it has not been held there in over 6 years due to very low attendence in 2004. I hope some of my fellow Black Cats can join me and support this event that many would consider as being Oklahoma D-Day Part II!

For a bridge too far? Unfortunately probably not. Wish I could, but the day it starts is the day that I have to return to school to start prepping for my role as an Residental Hall Assistant position for the 10 Fall/11 Spring school year.

However, if you guys are going to Red Dawn...

I will see if I can get off Fri from work for this one, how much is the entry fee, and is a case of paint the same price as D-Day.

Well guys, I have returned from A Bridge Too Far and it was indeed a fun and interesting game! It was a little hot (it was hovering around 100 degrees on Saturday) gaining the games new nickname "A Bridge Too HOT!" lol

However, everyone was in good spirits and even the D-Day Staff played with us on the field. We only had 60 people but the game flow was still very fun and relaxed and it still had some intense moments! Dewayne himself was even running and gunning inside one of the tanks!

FYI I present my redemption from 0 kills on D-Day... I did go solo with AT Gunning at the end of the day against two other tanks on the field and I did score my first game kill which so happened to be Tank that had Dewayne inside it! Twisted Evil LOL

Here is my Album if you can see it... I wished I had photos to verify my kill though. But you can verify with Dewayne and the Refs. hehe
